The State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam acting as the standing agency for the National Committee for MOW in Vietnam will hold a seminar on “Strengthening National Identities through UNESCO Inscribed Documentary Heritage”. The seminar will focus on how to utilize the potential of documentary heritage in promoting the understanding of the culture and social life of a nation.
In November 2014, continuing succeed of the series of training workshop on establishing nominations, seminar on raising public awareness on the Memory of the World Programme and the importance of documentary heritage…, the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam acting as standing agency for National Committee for MOW in Vietnam will hold a Seminar on “Strengthening national Identities through UNESCO Inscribed Documentary Heritage”. The Seminar will focus on how to utilize the potential of documentary heritage in promoting the understanding of the culture and social life of a nation. The venue of the Seminar will be in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, a beautiful tourist attraction and also the home of Woodblocks of Nguyen Dynasty – the first-ever Documentary Heritage of Vietnam being inscribed in the MOW International Register in 2009.
