The National Archives of Australia (NAA) have been awarded the 2011 UNESCO/ Jikji Memory of the World Prize for its significant contributions to the preservation and accessibility of documentary heritage. The work of the NAA includes publications, and innovative initiatives in the preservation of digital records. For more information please visit the UNESCO MOW Homepage.
The UNESCO/ Jikji Memory of the World Prize, funded by the Republic of Korea was awarded to ADABI (Apoyo al Desarrollo de Archivos y Bibliotecas), a Mexican non-profit association, in recognition of its innovative approach to conservation, digitization and accessibility of archives, as well as its education and training programmes.

On 9 March 2010 the Archives and materials of the Macao Diocese from 1550s to 1800s were added to the Asia-Pacific Memory of the World Register. This first inscription from the Macao SAR, China, joined seven other new inscriptions on the Register, from China, Vietnam, Mongolia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Philippines.
