Section 8 of the Memory of the World General Guidelines cover the procedures and processes in place for the international register. MOWCAP has developed the MOWCAP Regional Register Guidelines (March 2025 revision) to cover the processes and procedures for the MOWCAP Regional Register. These are compatible with the international process but take account of regional variations.
MOWCAP guidelines are consistent with the General Guidelines of the Memory of the World Programme (2021) and the Register Companion (2021)
