A revised and updated edition of the UNESCO publication Audiovisual Archiving: Philosophy and Principles is now available. It was launched at the official opening of the CCAAA Joint Technical Symposium, held at Singapore’s National Museum on 6 March 2016. It is published under UNESCO’s Memory of the World programme.

It was released along with a short video illustrating the audiovisual journey from the first time sound was recorded in 1860.
